This is the year that I wean myself off of CSAs in the area! I've raised a little food at home before and I can do it again , if I can just keep the deer away from my plots.
Here my Yard Man is digging into the cold frame that has been unused for years. You'll be seeing more of him in the future.
The first project for the year was putting green peas out. I did that against the back fence where I found some leftover spinach from last year! The spinach and peas are undercover of an old plastic cold frame I bought from an ad in Mother Earth News
years ago. We shall see if covering it encourages growth or not.
